Flight Arrivals at Porto Airport

Travelers arriving at Porto Airport in the northwest of Portugal have plenty of onward travel options available to them. Porto Airport is only 11 km distance from the city center of Porto and linked via bus lines 601, 602 and 604 to Porto's centre, as well as via Metro Line E, the Purple line that runs between the airport and Estádio do Dragão, taking in stops like Botica, Verdes, Crestins, Esposade, Senhora da Hora, Casa da Música and 24 de Agosto along the way. Convenient door-to-door shuttle services also take arrivals to their hotels at regular intervals throughout the day. Shuttle trips start at 12.00 euros per person.

Car rental companies like Avis and Budget, InterRent and Europcar, Guerin and Goldcar, Rhodium, Hertz and Sixt also have their service desks in the terminal near the arrivals area. Their teams are available from 7.00 am to midnight, every day of the week.

Free WiFi

Passengers will find free WiFi connections are available throughout the terminal. Simply turn on your laptop, tablet or smartphone, select the VINCI Airports WiFi network and open your Internet browser. Give a valid email address and click on your home country. Accept the terms and conditions and you will be online for free. If you experience any problems in using the free network, simply contact Customer Support on 707 502 267, available between the hours of 7.00 am to 7.00 pm every day. The service is only available in English.

Passengers with Mobility Issues

Passengers with mobility problems can use the MyWay Assistance Service, which includes mechanical mobility facilitators and skilled professionals offering their assistance, while passengers are at the airport. If this applies to you, simply contact your airline about the MyWay Assistance Service or tell your travel agent, when you book that you will require this service. You can book the service up to 48 hours in advance of your departure time. Your requirements will be sent by the airline to the airport you're flying to, so that you will find service professionals upon arrival waiting for you. This service also applies to passengers who are passing through Porto via connecting flights. Assistance will be given from the seat on the plane to the designated point of departure.

Health Services

Porto Airport also offers health service to all other passengers via the Airport Pharmacy, which is located before Security on the third floor. The pharmacy is open from 8.30 am to 11.00 pm daily. First Aid is also accessible at Porto Airport, if passengers are taken ill unexpectedly. First Aid is located on the ground floor before security and accessible 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Cafes, Restaurants and Wine Bars

Passengers arriving at Porto Airport will also find branded coffee shops like Costa Coffee and fast food restaurants like Burger King at their disposal. Most outlets are open from early morning to around 11.00 pm at night.

Baggage Storage

Porto Airport offers passengers convenient baggage storage in lockers, which are located before security and accessible from 5.00 am to 11.00 pm. In these lockers baggage can be stored for 4-hour intervals. Prices start at 1.50 euros per item and include VAT.

Baggage storage can be arranged also at the Information Desk, located before Security. The Information Desk is open from 5.00 am to 11.00 pm every day. Baggage weighing up to 10 kg costs 2.38 euros to store per day. If your suitcase or bag weighs 30 kgs, you pay 3.61 euros per item per day. Anything weighing more than that costs 7.18 euros per item per day. You are given a receipt for your stored baggage. If you lose it, you will be charged a fee of 10.02 euros (prices as of 2018, inc. VAT).
