Flight Departures at Porto Airport

Passengers using Porto Airport will find major airlines for their travels. Airlines like TAP Portugal, Iberia, Lufthansa, British Airways, Air Europe, Ryanair and Easyjet connect the northwest of Portugal with the rest of the world, flying to destinations like Amsterdam, Toronto and Stuttgart, Liverpool and Frankfurt, Paris, Krakau, Madrid, Marseille and Zurich. Porto Airport is conveniently close to the city of Porto, just 11 km distance from what is known as the birthplace of the Portuguese nation.

Convenient shuttle services offer door-to-door services from passengers' hotels to the airport. Prices start at just 12.00 euros per person for the shuttle transfers. Taxis drop passengers off just outside the terminal and are widely available throughout Porto. A one-way trip from central Porto to the airport starts at around 23.00 euros for up to four passengers and their luggage. The trip in a private taxi takes ca. 25 minutes.

Bus lines 601, 602 and 604 also link central Porto with the airport, and the Metro Line E, or Purple Line, runs at regular 20 to 30 minute intervals to the airport, depending on the time of day.

Parking your rental car or own vehicle at Porto Airport is easy and inexpensive. Prices start from 0.90 euros for the first 15 minutes in car park P0, and just 0.45 euros in car parking facility P9. A full day of parking starts at 6.50 euros in P9 and P6, and costs just 10.00 euros in P1. The parking facilities are part of the terminal itself, so passengers don't have to walk far to their check-in area.

Free WiFi is accessible throughout the terminal: simply turn on your mobile device, such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone, and select the VINCI Airports WiFi network. Provide your email address and home country when asked, and you have online access for free.

Duty Free shopping at Porto Airport includes perfume and cosmetics, kids' toys, tobacco, wine and spirits, chocolate and sweets, fashion and accessories, watches and jewelry, handicrafts and gifts.

Porto Airport also offers a wide choice of coffee shops and bars, both wine and beer lounges, fast food outlets and restaurants serving Portuguese and international food. Douro Restaurant for example serves dishes from just 8.00 euros and at Burger King passengers can find refreshments and food for smaller appetites. At First Class Wine Bar travelers can enjoy a taste of Portugal's sausages and cheeses, gourmet sandwiches and Douro wine, while they wait to board their flights.

At La Pausa self-service coffee shop passengers can relax a little and enjoy coffee before departure.

Super Bock Lounge serves Portuguese beer, a final taste of the country before leaving for different climes.

Porto Airport also offers travelers last minute convenience stores like Xpress Market, vending machines open 24 hours a day that are located before Security. They sell everything a traveler could need for their immediate comfort.

Porto's terminal offers shoppers a convenient pick-up on return service, too. Passengers won't have to carry their Duty Free shopping around with them on their way to their gate. At the shop of their choice they can arrange for this service, when they pay. They will be given a receipt for pick-up on return, and when they return to Porto Airport, they can reconnect with their shopping at the Pick Up On Return Desk, which is located at the Cores Doces Stores on the ground floor. Cores Doces sells sweets and chocolates to accompany travelers on their journey. The shop is open from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm and can be found in both Departures and Arrivals, before Security.
