CAEL Car Rental at Porto Airport

Upon your arrival at Porto International Airport there are many car hire companies available for the travelers. Cael’s customers are asked to exit the terminal after collecting their luggage from the baggage claim area as their rental station is located outside of the airport terminal. Once outside take right and walk 150 m/492ft. to the Avenue, cross to the other side at the crosswalk and you will find them straight ahead. Helpful information when renting a Cael vehicle at Porto Airport

The minimum age to rent a Cael vehicle is 23 years of age and all drivers have to have at least 2 years of driving experience on their driver’s license.

Cael accepts the following credit cards for both deposit and payment of the rental: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and Unibanco.

Always make sure any pre-existing damages on your rental car is documented in your rental agreement before driving off to your first destination.

It is required by Portuguese law that all passengers as well as the driver must wear a seat belt while in a moving vehicle.

Drivers are prohibited from using a mobile phone/cell phone in any other mode than hands free.
