When you arrive at Porto Airport it is wise to already have your rental car booked. There are many car rental companies to choose from at Porto Airport and not all of them are located within the airport terminal so you might be missing out on some good deals if you choose a walk-up rental. Either way, please remember to retrieve your luggage from the baggage claim area before proceeding. Drive on Holidays will have a representative waiting at the meeting point near the café in the arrivals hall to guide the customers to the shuttle bus stop in front of the airport arrivals. The journey to the rental car office is approximately 3 minutes.

Helpful information when renting a Drive on Holidays vehicle at OPO

All renters are required to present their booking confirmation voucher, their valid driver’s license, their valid passport and a MasterCard or Visa credit card in their own name at the time of collecting the vehicle. If the driver’s license is not written in the Romanic alphabet an international driver’s license is required in addition to the national driver’s license.

All drivers are required by Portuguese law to carry their driver’s license at all times while operating a vehicle.

Returning your rented Drive on Holiday vehicle at Porto Airport

The rental car has to be returned to the same location as collection unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

Please remember to remove your personal possessions from the vehicle before returning it.
