Helpful information when renting a Thrifty vehicle at Porto Airport

When collecting your rental car it is recommended to check the designated vehicle both on the inside and the outside for any damage that is pre-existing to your rental period. If any damage is found that is not already documented in your rental agreement, please make sure the Thrifty representative makes a note of it on the agreement to protect you from any claims at the return of the vehicle.

Make sure any extras that you have ordered and paid for are delivered as requested and if you are travelling with a child make sure the requirements for child seating are met. The representative from Thrifty will make sure you have the correct seat in the correct location if consulted.

All drivers must be in possession of their valid driver’s license at all times while driving to comply with Portuguese laws. Both the driver and all passengers are also required to wear a seat belt while the vehicle is moving.

Returning your rented Thrifty vehicle at Porto Airport

The Thrifty representative will provide you with instructions and directions on how and where to return your rental car at the end of your rental period.
